Competitor Profile – Keaton Standridge (Checkmat)

Describe who you are for those who don’t know you or your accomplishments.

I’m a dope ass mother fucker who don’t take no shit from nobody. That’s what my mom says.

Who do you credit for shaping your jiujitsu?

Keiser Girao and Matheus Gabriel are the reason for my success in such a short period of time.

How excited are you for this weekend?

I’m stoked for Friday so I can finally eat. Saturday is gonna be dope too.

Why are you looking forward to being on this card?

I competed on the F2W March card last year and lost the fight but got FOTY honors. This time I’ll win and get SOTY honors.

How have you been training to get ready for it?

I’ve been training at least twice a day with the best in the world.

What do you think of your opponent, Levi Golding (Soul Fighters)?

I don’t know much about him. I’m really just focused on my game.

If you had to pick – win with the most boring fight in F2W history or lose with FOTN honors in the most exciting match ever – which would you choose?

I don’t have boring fights. I’ll take the W and SOTY.

Any predictions for this match?

I’ll win this fight by electric chair.

Anybody you want to thank?

I’d like to thank my friends and family that are coming out for my fight. I can guarantee they’ll be the loudest in the venue.

Any last words before the match?

I want the title shot after my win on Saturday night!
